Polls Reform That Respects “ one-Man,One-Vote, One-Value” Principle Can Save Malaysian Democracy, Integrity, Freedom Of Choice, Equal Opportunity, Social Welfare And Justice For All.(en/bm/cn)

Speech By DAP Secretary-General And Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng During The DAP Special Conference For 38 MPs And 107 State Assemblymen In Kuala Lumpur On 11.5.2013.

Only polls reform that respects “one-man,one-vote, onve-value” principle can save malaysian democracy, integrity, freedom of choice, equal opportunity, social welfare and justice for all. The 13th general elections is historic in that this is the first time that BN lost the popular vote and that an opposition coalition of PR won a clear majority of popular vote of 50.9% over BN’s 47.4%(the rest spoilt votes and independent).

BN had received 51.4% of the popular vote in the 2008 general elections, dropeed 4% to only 47.4% in 2013 general elections. In contrast, PR recorded 47.6% in 2008 general elections and recorded an increase of 3.2% in popular voe to 50.9% in 2013. However the gerrymandering of constituencies that made a mockery of the essential representative democractic principle of “one-man, one-vote, one-value” by BN during the past 56 years, allowed BN to win power despite losing the popular vote.

How can PR that won 50.9% of the popular vote received only 40% of the seats? PR won an additional 7 seats from 82 to 89, not even coming lose to 110 out of the 222 seat Parliament.

This travesty of justice and fairplay is most prevalent in states like Perak where PR increased its popular votes by 1.4% to 54.7% and yet lost power to BN. In 2008 general elections, PR won power in Perak despite winning only 53.3 % of the popular vote.

In desperation to avoid answering why BN has a minority Prime Minister and address how BN won power despite decisively losing the popular vote, BN, especially UMNO and the discredited MCA President Datuk Dr Chua Soi Lek, has instead chosen to racialise the results by describing the results as a Chinese tsunami and asking “Apa Cina lagi mau?”.

This is most irresponsible because this was not a Chinese tsunami but a Malaysian tsunami. If there was any divide, it was not a racial divide but an urban-rural divide because PR won most of the urban seats in Malaysia. PR jsut can not win 51% of the popular vote by relying only on Chinese votes, who form only 25% of the population.

By asking the provocative question, “Apa Cina lagi mau?”, UMNO and MCA ignores that the Chinese wants what all other Malaysians want. No corruption, no cronyism, no nepotism and an end to abuse of power. A people-centric government government that listens to the people, does the people’s work and gives hope to the people. A government that prepares the future for the young and not steal the future from the young. The young will not allow BN to steal their future the same way that BN has stolen the future from their parents.

BN can not ignore the voice and votes of 51% of Malaysians. DAP wishes to pay tribute to all who came back to vote from overseas, spent long hours lining up to vote and were determined to spare no expense to realize their aspirations for change. DAP highlights 3 groups deserve special mention.

One the first time voters, some in their 60s who had never bothered to vote in their lives. Two the young who registered the highest voting turnout in Malaysian history witnessed by long lines in the last polling stream. Thirdly the women, who turned out in record numbers not just in polling stations but in ceramah donating generously, shouting out their support and shedding their tears to support the cry of “Ubah!”

DAP recorded its best performance in history by not just winning 38 parliamentary and 107 state seats, but also had elected representatives from all races – Malays, Chinese, Indians and our first Kadazan wakil rakyat. We are also proud to have our first female Indian MP and Assemblyperson. Whilst we celebrate, let us get down to the work we need to do for the people.

The people needs polls reforms now that reflect the sentiments and will of the voters. This is our immediate task but not the only one. Other issues of national importance requires attention.

Alternative government

As Pakatan Rakyat obtains more popular vote nationally than Barisan Nasional, DAP and Pakatan Rakyat need to move beyond our role as opposition at the federal level and in states which we have yet to win power. The public places huge hope on us and we must not disappoint them.

Our posture is that of an alternative government-in-waiting and not merely an opposition party.

Pakatan Rakyat – We are committed to make Pakatan Rakyat a viable choice as the government-in-waiting at the federal level and in states which we have yet to win power while ensuring that the states which we are governing perform well. We are prepared to step up the effort to register Pakatan Rakyat as a single entity and act as one.

Cooperation among Pakatan component parties is very well established at national level and most state with common manifesto, joint alternative budgets and regular national and state leadership council meetings, operated by various joint secretariats. We must now take the Pakatan model to the local level so that we move as Pakatan at local level.

Middle Malaysia – We must step up our effort to build trust across ethnic boundaries and to move beyond existing support base to reach out to the Middle Malaysia in a deeper and more meaningful way. A lot more efforts need to go into making DAP the choice party for all Malaysians including the Malays and Bumiputra of Sabah and Sarawak.

In our engagements with Malaysians, we must never adopt the BN model of delegating engagement along racial line. There must not be “racial outsourcing” of engagement work. All DAP elected reps are required to engage with Malays, Chinese, Indians, Kadazans, Ibans and all other fellow Malaysians.

The DAP reiterates that it is a party for all and not anti-Malay, anti-Bumiputra or anti-Islam. Indeed, the DAP is the most multi-ethnic of all parties in Malaysia with elected reps from among Malays, Indians, Kadazan and Chinese, and candidates from among Dayaks.

The DAP also has the averagely youngest delegation of elected reps among all parties, and the highest proportion of women among candidates. These are our strengths that we must continue to build upon in order to be the choice party of all Malaysians.

Building community

Make no mistake, the performance of our elected reps are key to re-election in the next term. We need all our reps to be at the forefront engaging the community and assisting them whenever help is needed.

But I want to introduce a new concept. While MCA, Gerakan and MIC provides “services”, we build community. The so-called “services” provided by the BN component parties are usually ad hoc work concealing the systemic failure of governments at all levels especially that of local government.

While we continue to help the people whenever they are faced with bureaucratic red tapes, we must move beyond just providing reactive solutions.

Beyond being reactive is to be proactive in building community. This election unleashes huge energy from the general public in things politics. We must now build on the massive participation of the people in the election processes and channel the great people’s movement into improving the public wellbeing, especially in states which we are not government.

We shall call our new centres “community centres” instead of merely “service centres”. It is where we want to engage with as many Malaysians as possible and provide them a platform to collaborate with other people to improve the conditions of their neighborhood and community.

GE13 sparks a political movement among the people. Huge number of Malaysians came to our rescue in becoming polling and counting agents, donating, and turning up at ceramahs during election. If properly communicated, we believe that they would be willing to take part in planting trees, gotong-royong, helping the poor and other community efforts.

The roles of our elected reps is not merely to provide “reactive services” as defined by BN component parties. We are here to build a community. We are nation builders.

Post-GE13, we build a civic volunteer movement to make our community a better place. With enhanced civic consciousness and community building effort, we move into GE14 with the community and not just as political parties.

In states where we form governments, we must continue to listen to the people and to perform, to lead and to be bold in repairing and reforming failed institutions.

Political education and think tank

We must now prepare ourselves intellectually to govern better than Barisan Nasional with fresh ideas or provide better ideas even from the opposition’s benches.

Barisan Nasional is bankrupt of new ideas. We must build a movement of new ideas. We must go beyond old paradigms and be prepared to explore and adopt new ones.

As alternative governments, we must start engaging all levels and all sections of the nation. Listen and learn from them what would be the best way forward for Malaysia in all policy areas.

This is particularly important for states which we aspire to win power in the next election. We must inspire confidence among the people that we are ready to govern, that we are not a clone of Barisan Nasional but represents a compellingly fresh break from the dark past.

All these require long term effort to build a team of leaders who are knowledgeable about governance issues and able to articulate them in a convincing manners. The party at all levels must strengthen political education and think tank work to prepare for that.

Communication

However good an elected rep is, without communicating effectively his or her ideas and showcasing his or her performance, it is unlikely that the people would know.

It is important that we communicate effectively as reps and as a party, and hopefully as a coalition. The reasons why Penang, Selangor and Kelantan survive the onslaught of Barisan Nasional’s ferocious attacks in GE13 is in no small way thanks to the communication channels in these states. The Kelantan government has a strong peer-to-peer communication mechanism while Penang and Selangor built strong state communication channels to counter lies from Barisan Nasional’s media.

I don’t expect the media environment to improve under Najib’s second term. But while we protest against unfair media treatment, we must not stop short at that. We must build our channels to reach out to the wider audience through our online media, printed materials and face-to-face engagements. For instance, I expect the free Bahasa Rocket papers to be distributed on a regular basis to all voters in the seats we have elected reps.

Defending The Rakyat

Whilst UMNO retaliates for their loss in the general elections, especially the failure to gain a 2/3 parliamentary majority, by blaming the Chinese, MCA and Gerakan throws childish tantrums by closing down their service centers. The people will no longer be subjected to such threats. MCA and Gerakan might as well close shop and not just their service centers.

DAP leaders and members must step up by replacing BN whether it is MCA or Gerakan, in serving the rakyat where MCA or Gerakan have abandoned the rakyat.

MCA and Gerakan grossly underestimated the people’s yearning for change if they think closing down service centers or their offices in retaliation for losing the general elections can frighten the voters. DAP did not close down our offices or service centers when we lost in every general election from 1966 to 2008 but continued our struggle for the people.

All this is done when UMNO is demonizing both DAP and the Chinese community for daring to oppose and vote against BN. Malaysians are no longer stupid and will not allow BN to racialize national issues.

Instead every matter should be discussed and decided on merits that is not race-based but needs based. This is the new paradigm shift of this general elections that the people are sick and tired of race-based and extremist politics as well as a clear preference for people-centric policies that makes a difference to the lives of ordinary Malaysians.

Let us prove that the power of the people is more powerful than those people in power!

What’s the Most Common Concern of High Net Worth Individuals?

During a webinar I hosted featuring Evanna Phoon and Chris Foong (Senior Manager of Rockwills Advisory Services), I asked the question: “According to Foong’s past experience dealing with over 40+ multi-billion/millionaires, what is the most common concern of a high-level individual?”

You can watch the video below on Chris Foong’s sharing:

Chris Foong: Actually one of the main and most common concerns , I think you have heard of it, is the Spendthrift Beneficiaries.

KCLau: Oh, that means that one of the heirs will be spending a lot of money.

Chris: Exactly. Let’s say they have a little four or five children, or two, three children for example. The tendency is that one of them will be like that. I mean throughout experience, this is quite real, in the real world I would say. That tendency actually gives some sort of problem if no proper planning is being done.

Of course, let’s say if a client has a multi-billion dollar kind of business empire, you may not want to transfer the shares to such a beneficiary. So, there is proper planning that needs to be done.

We most commonly use a type of a structural trust fund, whereby at the death of the testator of course you will not want to neglect this child. We still want to benefit this child. But, do not want this child to own a lump sum arrangement straightaway.

Maybe, it will be done in staggered payments or we can even design incentives. For example, say if you would like to look at this much allowance or whatever from the trust fund, every month, or year, or whatever it is. You will need to work or prove to us that you have capability of generating income or a way to match that. Otherwise, you will just be given a very minimum kind of allowance just to sustain your living expenses.

Definitely not giving him a big amount at one go.

KCLau: So, this is setting up rules saying that if you are making ten thousand a month, then you’ll get a certain allowance, let’s say another ten thousand from the trust, or something like that.

Chris: Yes, something along that line.

KCLau: Iff the beneficiary is not working, the trust maybe will just pay him…

Chris: A minimum amount.

KCLau: An amount, say, two thousand or three thousand a month.

Chris: Exactly. Correct. And this little worry actually leads on to another worry. Assuming that your child is actually already married or with children, most of the time, the grandparents are worried. I’m like this. I’m also worried that my grandchildren are not taken care of. So, that’s why.

KCLau: I see. How do you arrange that? How do you arrange for the grandchildren to get more money or benefit than the parents?

Chris: Sometimes they will invest on this type of trust called Generation Skipping Trust.

KCLau: Skipping? Generation Skipping?

Evanna: Yeah, they skip the parents.

Chris: Actually in simple terms, it’s just really something for the grandchildren. Again, this something could be cash or it could be an entitlement to shares in the business.

This will be in a proper structure. Whether it will be in the form of a trust or foundation, we will need to look at the customer concerns before we can advise. But definitely these are very real, true worries.

In fact, if you ask me, one of the other common worry I think I should tell you now…

KCLau: Okay, good.

Chris: It also includes the family members that are not in good terms. These are quite common as well.

KCLau: Not in good terms. For example?

Evanna: Internal fighting.

KCLau: Oh.

Chris: Yeah, brothers fighting for roles to be played in the business itself.

Evanna: Sibling rivalry.

Chris: Sibling rivalry is quite common as well. Some of worries like, “I have no problem benefitting my son or my daughter. My worry is that when I pass on, and the spouse will re-marry. I don’t want my inheritance to be given to them, you know, the in-laws, daughter-in-law, son-in-law, and eventually benefitting also their in-laws. That is also one of the worries.

And another will be protection. That’s right – protection. I have a client, of course, I can’t mention names, but he is definitely a high-level client. He actually set up a living trust whereby he transferred almost 30 million worth of insurance into the trust. This living trust is actually an irrevocable living trust.

Why is it called that? It is because after five years of setting up this trust, assuming the entire transaction is done without any fraud and depending on what will happen to the client himself, he does not need to worry about creditors coming to claim from him over the sum of the insurance proceeds. That’s also one of the main benefits of setting up a trust.

KCLau: Oh, great. So, what you are saying is that one of your clients actually transferred or assigned about 30 million worth of insurance into a living trust, and it is irrevocable. Irrevocable means, it cannot be cancelled, right? Once that’s done, it’s already done.

Chris: Right.

KCLau: So, after five years if he’s got a creditor who want to chase over the money, they cannot touch the trust money.

Chris: Yes.

KCLau: That’s very suitable for those kinds of business which is engaging in quite high risk trading or something.

Chris: Exactly.

DAP’s Urgent Priority Of Polls Reform That Respects The “One-Man, One-Vote,One-Value” Principle Will Not Be Undermined By BN’s Underhand Tactics To Try To Split Up PR By Inviting DAP To Join BN As DAP’s Struggle Is For Principles Not Positions, For People-Centric Policies And Not Personal Interests.(en/bm/cn)

Press Statement By DAP Secretary-General And MP For Bagan Lim Guan Eng In Kuala Lumpur On 10.5.2013

DAP’s urgent priority of polls reform that respects the “one-man, one-vote,one-value” principle will not be undermined by BN’s underhand tactics to try to split up PR by inviting DAP to join BN as DAP’s struggle is for principles not positions, for people-centric policies and not personal interests. Clearly BN’s latest tactics is designed to split up the unity within PR.

DAP has no interest in joining BN for posts because if we had wanted to, we could have done so during the last 40 years. However DAP refused to join BN and held steadfastly to our ideals, principles and policies of a fairer, freer and democratic Malaysia. DAP leaders had not only forgone the perks and privileges of high office, but sacrificed their personal liberties by being jailed and detained.

If DAP leaders can hold firm and steadfast when we lost in general elections, there is no doubt that DAP can do the same now when we have won the highest number of seats in our history of 38 Parliamentary and 107 state seats. This suggestion of DAP joining BN made by one MCA MP and one racist ex-UMNO Minister is clearly designed to undermine PR’s campaign to seek polls reform and split up the unity within PR.

The urgency of polls reform is highlighted by the travesty of justice of PR winning the popular vote in the 13th General Elections but yet losing government to BN. How can BN win power in Perak when PR won 55% of the popular vote? Similarly how can BN continue to be the Federal government when PR won 51% of the popular vote, an increase of 3% popular vote that allowed PR to gain only 7 parliamentary seats from 82 to 89.

Such injustice and underhanded tactics is most pronounced in Perak when PR won 52% of the popular vote in 2008 general elections and managed to win power with 31 state seats against 28 for BN. During this general elections, PR won even more popular votes in Perak this time with 55% and yet won only 28 state seats against BN’s 31. In both the Federal and Perak governments, we have a minority BN government or a minority Prime Minister and minority Perak Menteri Besar heading the administration.

Any talks of co-operation must be done through PR and not through individual parties. PR is willing to co-operate with BN to implement polls reform to reflect the unhappiness of the majority of Malaysians who voted for change and yet discover that despite winning the popular vote, they can not throw out BN.

Before this call to DAP to join BN, there have also been similar calls to PAS to join BN with UMNO for a unity government. All this is done when UMNO is demonizing both DAP and the Chinese community for daring to oppose and vote against BN. Malaysians are no longer stupid and will not allow BN to racialize national issues.

Instead every matter should be discussed and decided on merits that is not race-based but needs based. This is the new paradigm shift of this general elections – that the people are sick and tired of race-based and extremist politics as well as a clear preference for people-centric policies that makes a difference to the lives of ordinary Malaysians.

Let us prove that the power of the people is more powerful than those people in power!

——BM Version—–
Kenyataan Media oleh Setiausaha Agung DAP merangkap Ahli Parlimen Bagan, Lim Guan Eng di Kuala Lumpur pada 10 Mei 2013.

Tuntutan Reformasi Pilihanraya DAP Yang Menghormati Prinsip ‘Satu Orang, Satu Undi, Satu Nilai’ Tidak Akan Dilemahkan Dengan Taktik Kotor BN Untuk Cuba Memecahbelahkan Pakatan Rakyat Dengan Menjemput DAP Menyertai BN Kerana Perjuangan DAP Adalah Demi Prinsip Bukan Jawatan, Demi Polisi Mesra Rakyat Dan Bukan Kepentingan Peribadi.

Jimmy Tidak Ikhlas Menjaga Anak Kami – Suhaila

Ramai kot nak jaga budak comel macam Zahrah Rania nie. Patutnya Jimmy dan Suhaila bertolak ansur dan ikut sahajalah keputusan mahkamah. Orang kat luar sana berapa banyak yang berendam air mata kerana kahwin tak dapat-dapat anak. Ini korang bergaduh tak tentu pasal. Kesian anak korang yang mendapat impak negatif kerana pergaduhan anda berdua.

Saya Harap Pimpinan Baru Kelantan Dengar Rintihan Artis Tempatan – Norman KRU

norman kru

Abang Nara tak tahu mengapa Norman KRU ini suka sangat bercakap mengenai Kelantan. Semalam menerusi Harian Metro, Norman menyatakan harapannya terhadap pimpinan baru Kelantan. Kata Norman:-

Himpunan Pasca Pilihanraya

I have always been curious about these events. Yesterday night, I attended one. I knew it was going to be a mammoth gathering (from other sources, about 120,000 attended), thankfully I rode there. It was easier maneuvering the traffic with a motorcycle than a car.

Why Gather?

The General Election 13 is done and with BN once again, being the victor. However, there has been claims that there were cheating involved.

  1. Indelible ink – I was able to remove mine 30 minutes after election.
  2. Phantom voters – An ustaz was accused of trying to vote the second time. He arrived from Singapore at 4.30 pm. In the end he was able to cast his votes.
  3. Foreign voters – Bangladeshi was caught trying to cast vote, there are videos on this. Go find it yourself.
  4. Blackout – It was reported that a few sites experienced a black out. There’s already some proof that this did not happen but we can’t neglect this entirely.
  5. Recount Process – New Borang 14 surfaced during the recounting.
  6. Bribe – Some videos people receiving money from a Party’s vehicle

These are just theories until proven. Therefore we can’t deny any possibilities from either side, EC or candidates committing fraud. It is in our best interest to seek for truth.

Anwar Ibrahim claimed that there are close to 30 Parliament seats that was ‘robbed’ from the rakyat. PR intends to explore in this coming weeks. Until then, we just have to play the wait-and-see game.

kelana-jaya-himpunan01

People came by the dozens. Some even parked 2km just to avoid the traffic and some came as early as 3 pm. It became like a mini pasar malam.

kelana-jaya-himpunan03

From all walks of life. Cina Melayu India Singh, just name it.

kelana-jaya-himpunan04

We sat together, rubbing shoulders, passing around yellow ribbons, chanting and screaming. It was the best way for PR supporters to vent their angers.

kelana-jaya-himpunan02

I took the video of Anwar’s speech.

kelana-jaya-himpunan05

Proof I was there.

There are 4 areas I think this event can improve.

1. Trash was everywhere. I took sometime to collect these. I don’t understand people who wants CHANGE but doesn’t want to change their habit. When are they going to get it, you throw your own rubbish la!

2. Impatient People. Everyone was really hustling their way out pushing old folks and others. Relax la, be considerate.

3. Parking. It was hellish. Stadium Kelana Jaya is one messed up development area. There’s only one small entrance and exit for cars. It’s also along houses.

4. Smoking in the Stadium. I understand the urge to smoke, but please, hold it for 2-3 hours. And if want to smoke, don’t put it off on the bitumen track. That’s backwards thinking.

ps: I got home at 12. Kesian bini kerana tidak dapat turut serta.

Album EP Yuna Dikritik, Julian Schratter Hentam Media Malaysia

Siapakah Julian Schratter?

Kritikan penuh berbunyi “At first glance, the EP, which introduces her as Verve Records’ new signing, might strike some as underwhelming, as the CD cover (yes, even this can make or break the album) features yet another head-tilted, close-up self-portrait of the singer set against a white background. Overdone and uninventive, yes, but as the saying goes, don’t judge a book – or in this case, EP – by its cover.”.

Muka Berubah Kerana Pengambilan Steroid Bukannya Botoks – Sharifah Aini

Muka Sharifah Aini sememangnya sentiasa menjadi topik perbualan di kalangan peminatnya. Mana taknya, wajah terbaru Kak Pah kelihatan semakin berisi dan kembung. Sekali tengok memang macam Kak Pah ambil suntikan botoks. Nampak sembam semacam je muka Kak Pah.

sharifah aini

Namun ternyata perkara tersebut tidak benar. Menurut Kak Pah, perubahan wajahnya berlaku kerana pengambilan steroid ekoran mengalami jangkitan paru-paru enam bulan lalu.

Ini kalilah!

Ini kalilah!

Sherry Ibrahim Sudah Ada Kekasih Baru, Enggan Komen Isu Ashraf Muslim

Dia sebaya saya iaitu 30 tahun.

Jejaka Mauritius pun jejaka Mauritius lah. Sama-samalah kita doakan.

PR Winning 51% Of The Popular Vote Yet Only 40% Of The Parliamentary Seats Cries Out For Genuine Polls Reforms That Respects The One-Man, One-Vote Principle To Save Democracy.(en/bm/cn)

Press Statement By DAP Secretary-General And MP For Bagan Lim Guan Eng In Kuala Lumpur On 9.5.2013.

DAP is not surprised that MCA and Gerakan are behaving in a childish manner by petulantly closing down their service centers in retaliation for the devastating defeats in the recent general elections. MCA was left with 7 parliamentary seats whilst Gerakan had only 1 parliamentary seat. Such a reaction by Gerakan and MCA losing in the general elections is akin to a child throwing tantrum for not getting what he or she wants.

Carrying out threats of closing down service centers will not impress voters, whether Chinese, Indians or Malays who had already dismissed them as irrelevant and had already made up their minds to reject BN. This is indicated by PR winning the popular vote of 51% compared to BN’s 47.4%, the first time that an opposition coalition had won more than 50% of the popular vote(see below).

(Not including spoilt votes)

PR won 5.6 million votes compared to 5.2 million for BN, a clear lead of 386,000 votes. PR winning 51% of the popular vote yet only 40% of the parliamentary seats cries out for genuine polls reforms that respects the “one-man, one-vote” principle to save democracy.

Malaysians who voted by a clear majority for PR over BN would see the results as perverse in that BN that lost the popular vote won government whilst PR won the popular vote lost power. This is black becoming white and black becoming white.

A Saturday DAP Conference In KL For All 38 Elected MPs and 107 Elected State Assemblymen On Plans To Serve The Nation And Voters As Well As To Replace MCA And Gerakan Which Has Closed Shop On Its Own Following Their Total Rejection By Voters In The 13th General Elections.

The people are sick and tired of these childish games. If MCA and Gerakan can close down service centers, why has MCA and Gerakan not announced that they will close down completely?

DAP shall be organizing a special national conference this Saturday in Kuala Lumpur for all 38 elected MPs and 107 elected state assemblymen on plans to serve the nation and voters as well as to replace MCA and Gerakan which has closed shop on its own following their total rejection by voters in the 13th general elections.

Lim Guan Eng

—-BM Version —-

Kenyataan Media oleh Setiausaha Agung DAP merangkap Ahli Parlimen Bagan, Lim Guan Eng di Kuala Lumpur pada 9 Mei 2013.

Pakatan Rakyat Menang 51% Undi Popular Namun Hanya 40% Kerusi Parlimen Menuntut Reformasi Pilihanraya Yang Tulen Yang Menghormati Prinsip Satu Orang Satu Undi Demi Menyelamatkan Demokrasi.

(lihat bawah)

Inilah namanya hitam jadi putih, putih jadi hitam.

Persidangan DAP Di Kuala Lumpur Pada Hari Sabtu Untuk Kesemua 38 Ahli Parlimen Dan 107 ADUN Yang Telah Dipilih, Bagi Merangka Pelan Bagi Berkhidmat Kepada Negara Dan Pengundi Serta Untuk Menggantikan MCA Dan Gerakan Yang Telah ‘Tutup Kedai’ Dengan Sendirinya Berikutan Penolakan Total Terhadap Mereka Oleh Pengundi Dalam PRU Ke-13.

(GOSIP)Wajah Wan Sakinah Yang Dikatakan Bakal Isteri Kedua Ashraf Muslim?

Salam semua. Luahan hati. Makin lama makin ramai yang suka melemparkan fitnah demi kepentingan masing-masing. Ingat kita ada Allah.

Makin banyak fitnah dilemparkan yg direka-reka oleh wartawan Harian Metro. Semoga Allah memberkati kamu.

Medical Tricorder

Will the fabled Star Trek Medical Tricorder be a reality? It might if there is a worthy winner of the X Prize Foundation’s $10 million competition scheduled to end on mid-2015. From New Scientist

Announcing the contest last year, Peter Diamandis of the X Prize Foundation said that the guidelines were inspired by the “medical tricorder” featured in the TV series Star Trek. Waved like a wand over the human body, the smartphone-like device was capable of diagnosing myriad ailments.
Like the tricorder, the winning device must be portable, weighing no more than 2.25 kilograms. It must be able to diagnose 12 specific medical conditions – ranging from a common ear infection to pneumonia – and monitor five vital signs. Competing teams must also choose three from a list of 12 more ambitious “elective” conditions to detect, including melanoma, food poisoning and HIV infection.
The guidelines specify that devices that work in the least invasive way will score best with the judges – a panel of non-expert users. And unlike the box of tricks on the TV show, competition devices must make diagnoses without any help from medical professionals.

The specifications of the device:

I really look forward to a gadget like that. In the meantime there are already “plugins” like AliveCor’s ECG monitor for your iPhone and a portable Ultrasound (Windows mobile).
Portable gadgets are also getting cheaper these days and I just got myself this really cheap Pulse Oxymeter from Ebay

Aeril Zafrel Tipu Saya – David Teo

Tak sabar nak menanti filem Hollywood lakonan Aeril. Pasti menarik!!!

Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak Should Not Ask Why Chinese Voters Did Not Support MCA But Whether Even Malay Voters Would Vote For A Party Led By Such A “Famous” Leader Like Chua Soi Lek? (en/bm/cn)

Press Statement By DAP Secretary-General And MP For Bagan Lim Guan Eng In Kuala Lumpur On 8.5.2013.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak should not ask why Chinese voters did not support MCA but whether even Malay voters would vote for a party led by such a “famous” leader like Chua Soi Lek? By continuing to blame Chinese voters or claim that Chinese voters were misled by DAP to vote against BN, Najib is showing contempt not only for democratic right of freedom of choice but also insulting the intelligence of all Malaysian voters.

The recent general elections saw a Malaysian tsunami causing PR to win the popular vote of 51% for the first time in history. Despite gathering more votes than BN from support by all communities, BN continues to blame the Chinese voters. The Chinese form only 25 per cent of Malaysia’s 29 million population of which less than half have registered to vote.

Of that number, BN polled 5,237,699 votes for the 222 federal seats to Pakatan Rakyat parties’ combined 5,623,984 ballots. The three-party pact of PKR, PAS and the DAP also surpassed BN in the state seats, pulling in 4,879,699 votes to the 13-member coalition’s 4,513,997 ballots.

When the Chinese only form 25% of the total voters but PR gains 51% of the popular vote how can BN pin the blame on the Chinese community? Who then are the remaining 26% of the voters if not Malays, Indians, Kadazans and Ibans? Or are these voters foreign Bangla voters?

Najib and BN should study why even Malay and Indian voters are not willing to vote for MCA. After all why would any decent Malay and Indian voter vote for MCA when it is led by such an infamous leader like Chua Soi Lek. Chua Soi Lek is so desperate that he forgets himself as a great politically liability to betray Malaysians by joining hands with UMNO to play the dangerous racial game of blaming BN’s loss of popular vote on the Chinese community.

Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak Tidak Patut Bertanya Kenapa Pengundi Cina Tidak Menyokong MCA Malah Sepatutnya Bertanya Kenapa Pengundi Melayu Mahu Mengundi Sebuah Parti Yang Diketuai Pemimpin Yang Begitu Terkenal Seperti Chua Soi Lek?

DAP Expresses Support For Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim To Be Retained As Selangor Menteri Besar For A 2nd Term.(en/bm/cn)

Press Statement By DAP Secretary-General And MP For Bagan Lim Guan Eng In Kuala Lumpur On 8.5.2013

DAP expresses support for Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim to be retained as Selangor Menteri Besar for a 2nd term. Tan Sri Khalid should continue as Menteri Besar after leading PR to a resounding victory at the recent general elections by winning a 2/3 majority with 44 out of 56 state seats in Selangor from the previous 36 seats.

Even though DAP won 15 seats together with PAS 15 and PKR’s 14, Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim should be recognized for his integrity and stewardship of Selangor. This had enabled PR to beat back a determined effort by BN led by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak himself to win back Selangor. DAP Selangor is also in full support of Tan Sri Khalid as the Selangor Menteri Besar.

Penang PR Increased Popular Vote By 7.7% For State Seats From 58% In 2008 General Elections To 65.7% In 2013 General Elections Proving Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak Wrong That PR Failed To Get Non-chinese Support.(en/bm/cn)

Press Statement By Penang PR Chairman And Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng In Penang On8.5.2013

Penang PR increased its popular vote by 7.7% for state seats from 58% in 2008 general elections to 65.7% in 2013 general elections. BN received 32% of the popular vote, with the remainder spoilt and independent votes. The swing of 7.7% towards PR is large by normal electoral swings of 3-4%and proves Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak wrong that PR failed to get non-Chinese support.

For parliamentary seats PR increased its share by 4% from 63% in the 2008 general elections to 67% in 2013 general elections. BN received around 31% with the remainder spoilt votes.(see table below)

Penang PR % of Popular Vote GE2008 vs GE2013 (State and Parliament)

Including Spoilt votes
- Decrease in split voting from GE2008 to GE2013 shows that the majority of Penangites support Pakatan at the same rates at the parliament as well as the state levels

Penang PR # of Popular Vote GE2008 vs GE2013 (State and Parliament)

- Increase in # of votes at the state level is larger than the increase in # of votes as parliament. Shows increasing confidence in the capacity of the PR state government in Penang.

The increase in popular vote for PR by 7.7% can only be attributed to increasing support from all communities in Penang, Chinese, Indian and Malays. Even though there was a marked increase in support from Chinese and Indian voters, there was a slight increase in Malay support. Otherwise how could a state with more than 35% Malay voters give a 66-67% popular support for PR for both parliamentary and state seats? As it is impossible to win 100% support from both Indians and Chinese, the marked increase in popular vote and majorities as seen below can only come from slight increase in support from Malay voters.

Penang PR Majority GE2008 vs GE2013 (State and Parliament)

PR majorities increased by 86% for Parliamentary seats and a whopping 164% for state seats for this general elections as compared to 2008. The facts show clearly that PR won in Penang as a result of increased support from all 3 communities.

DAP regrets that both UMNO and MCA continues to try to racialise the issue as a Chinese tsunami when it is a Malaysian tsunami coming from all 3 races in Penang. This is a dangerous game of racial fire by BN as we have seen throughout the election campaign that it is Chinese BN supporters form the 1Malaysia groups that were beating up Chinese and Malay BN supporters that were beating up Malays.

Malays and non-Malays are not as stupid as BN thinks to believe this racial line by BN and will reject the politics of racial confrontation of BN and adopt the politics of collaboration of PR. I had said in my swearing-in speech yesterday that PR Penang state government 2.0 would be fair to all regardless of race, religion and political affiliation, including BN supporters.

LIM GUAN ENG

—–BM Version—–
Kenyataan Media oleh Pengerusi Pakatan Rakyat Pulau Pinang merangkap Ketua Menteri, Lim Gua Eng di Pulau Pinang pada 8 Mei 2013.

Undi Popular Bagi Pakatan Rakyat Pulau Pinang Meningkat Sebanyak 7.7% Untuk Kerusi DUN, Berbanding 58% Pada Pilihanraya Umum 2008 Kepada 65.7% Pada 2013; Membuktikan Bahawa Sangkaan Perdana Menteri Najib Razak Kononnya Pakatan Rakyat Pulau Pinang Gagal Mendapat Sokongan Pengundi Bukan Cina Ternyata Salah.

(lihat jadual)

PR P.Pinang % Undi Popular PRU2008 vs PRU2013 (DUN and Parlimen)

Termasuk undi rosak

Set photos from the Buddyz 2 TV shoot

surrounded by yellow umbrellas
(On the set of Buddyz 2, with the iconic kombi van and some yellow umbrellas. The guy in yellow and seated in the background is actor Shaheizy Sam, reading the script)

Last year, I made a passing mention that I was involved in a TV shoot for a series of 5-minute episodes called Buddyz. The series started airing last June.

In the past few weeks I have been preparing for Season 2 of Buddyz, which stars Alif Satar, Syed Ali, Eliza Razak and Wawa Zainal, including (numerous) special appearances from Shaheizy Sam (the guy is doing multiple roles, like Eddie Murphy in the 80s).

For this shoot (and many after that), I decided to use a Blackmagic Cinema Camera that I bought literally just a few days before :D

setting up the Blackmagic Camera

The shoot started on May 1st. Labour Day. Most were having a holiday while we started work.

This was the very first shot of the entire shoot.

the very first shot of the shoot

May 2nd. Day 2. We were shooting around the Damansara Perdana area.

The Malaysian flag inspires me with patriotic feelings during the shoot

a scene in front of shoplots

That was 3 days before General Elections. The sight of the flag made me feel a little patriotic.

I always wanted to try a Snorricam shot. I finally got to do it.

shooting a scene in the middle of the street

Once again, like the previous season, Elliza Razak and Shaheizy Sam shared the most screen time. Their chemistry is already there, as director, my job was to set up the scenes wonderfully for them to work their magic.

Day 3. Taman Tun Park.

I decided to scatter some yellow umbrellas around the park to make the scene more awesome.

Day 4... well, Day 4 was a hectic shoot where started from 7am to 7pm. There was a live audience. I'll just share some of their tweets.

(they even got to hang out with the cast members)

Not just there to give @shaheizy_sam moral support, #BuddyzSam got to join him on screen as well. Lucky!! twitter.com/kyension/statu…

There were even (quite a lot of photos) posted on Facebook.

Tweets of those events had the hashtag #BuddyzSam

It's fascinating.

May 5th. We had a break. It was the 13th Malaysian General Elections. Mom and I went to vote. But that's a different story for another day. If ever.

May 6th. Back to work. No photos. Post-election fatigue.

May 7th. Yesterday. Day 6 of shoot.

Continued shooting in a kampung house. Sometimes, I'm really amazed by the generosity of our Malay brethren, they are always hospitable and agreeable when lending out their homes for film shoots.

Should You Invest in Gold?

First and foremost, before answering this question about whether should you invest in gold, let’s examine what’s worth investing?

What’s worth investing?

If you read any of the book written by the famous financial guru, Robert T.Kiyosaki (stated in an interview with Jason Hartman in 2011 that he owns over 1400 units of apartment houses) you will be familiar with the term “assets” and “liabilities”. He said that asset is something that produce income and put money in your pocket regularly.

For example, your money in fixed deposit generate interest income every month. Therefore, you can call it an asset. How about owning a company shares? The company might declare dividend regularly, and you get a dividend income by owning its share. You can call it an asset. How about a property? It is an asset if you rent it out and get rental income every month. But if you are staying in it, Robert says that the property you are currently staying in is a liability. The logic is simple – if there is no income generated from the property, it is a liability.

Apparently, you would like to invest all your money into assets. Asset generates income so your money will grow.

Now by understanding what asset is about, according to Robert, who is currently the best financial educator most of us know, let’s examine gold as an asset class. Is gold consider an “asset”? Does it produce regular income?

Is Gold Considered an Asset because it has value?

Recently, I hosted an online training session, where I answered a bunch of questions submitted by my readers. During that session, I asked the live audience this question too. Can you consider gold as an “asset”? The response is a mixture of yes and no. About half of the audience said it is an asset. There rest said “no”. What about you?

You can watch the full webinar replay here (only for Premium Webinar Members)

One of my audience said that gold is an asset because it has “value”. Well, if you think deeper, everything has a value. If there is an old mobile phone being stored somewhere in your room, which is not used anymore, is it consider an asset too merely because it has value? You can sell the unused phone and convert it into cash. It definitely has value. But you can’t say that it is an asset, according to our understanding just now. We can’t qualify it as an asset because the used mobile phone doesn’t generate income.

Is Gold Considered an Asset because it appreciates in value?

Then, another audience replied that gold can be consider an asset because it appreciates in value. Well, what do you think about this now?

You can make money by buying gold because when you buy it at a low price, you might be able to sell it at a higher price. That converts into profit due to gold’s value appreciation over time. Is this true? Does gold always go up in price?

Now, I would like you to think about the reasons why something appreciates in value? It boils down to the concept of supply and demand. If there are more people demanding for a certain commodity, the seller can sell at a higher price.

Why is there a higher demand of certain things in this world? This drives up the price when there is not enough supply to cope with the market demand. Demand is high for certain resources when it is useful, producing income, but scarce. Gold appreciates in value whenever there is a higher demand of it.

Consider these two different things – a tenanted property versus gold. A well-located and well-maintained property in a highly populated town will always have demand for it. No doubt the property will appreciate in value because it is producing income. Tenants want the convenience of its location. Furthermore, all of us need a roof over our head.

Meanwhile, gold is still the same metal anywhere in the world. It might be scarce but it doesn’t produce income. Do you think the demand for it will always be there? Ask yourself honestly, can you live without gold? Can you carry on your daily life and live happily even if you don’t own any ounce of gold? I bet you can.

So, can you consider something as an “asset” just because it appreciates in value? I don’t think so.

Why is gold useful?

Gold might be useful as a currency insurance because people fear that currency depreciates whenever central banks print more money. That makes sense because if you want to store money somewhere (in a bank account, for instance), it might be better to store it as gold, or silver, or whatever commodities. As a currency insurance, gold can hedge against inflation, which technically means money depreciate in value.

Gold might be useful when you have to face doomsday. When countries go to war and currency is worthless, gold might become the medium of exchange like the old days. You can keep gold for these reasons.

But when it comes to investment, I would rather buy assets that generate incomes. Assets will always appreciate when it can generate incomes. It will appreciate even faster if the income generated from the same asset is higher and higher every year. As a summary, here is a well said comment from Jeffrey Cheah, a licensed professional estate planner:
“Gold has been a symbol of great value for ages. Over time it has been misinterpreted as an investment.”

jeffreychechcomment

When it comes to investment, we should all listen to Warren Buffett, the Oracle of Omaha. He said,“Gold gets dug out of the ground in Africa, or someplace. Then we melt it down, dig another hole, bury it again and pay people to stand around guarding it. It has no utility. Anyone watching from Mars would be scratching their head”

Is Najib Being RACIST? Why?

This is the question that has been circling in my puny brain these few days. All these while I thought Najib will redeem Barisan Nasional and himself after being appointed as the Prime Minister. Honestly I kinda admired and loved our Prime Minister...until yesterday. I kept on asking myself, "Is Najib being RACIST?" Why does the same man who has been pushing for 1Malaysia suddenly accused the Chinese of not supporting him and Barisan Nasional? I was really sad for I thought Najib was the only glimmer of light that link all Malaysians with his promise of equality for all. Now I know I was wrong.

photo 01IsNajibBeingRACIST_zpsf0c08c16.jpg
Najib during happier moments.
My family and I really enjoyed his candid advertisement.

Barisan Nasional's victory on the 5th of May was nothing for them to shout about and they, especially Najib, know that he has done terribly worse than his predecessor (Abdullah Badawi-I love him). So instead of blaming on himself for being a hesitant reformer, Najib conveniently pointed the fingers at the Chinese and blamed us for causing Barisan Nasional's victory to be weakened? Why Najib? I really didn't expect you to be so racist??? And blame us for your "defeat"?? Why can't you be a graceful loser?

photo 02IsNajibBeingRACISTChineseTsunami_zpsf9b0e73c.jpg
How can you label us as Tsunami?
I thought we have the right to vote?

Najib had wrongfully claimed that all Chinese supporters have swung their supports towards the opposition causing Barisan Nasional to lose in a lot of urban areas. Najib said it was a 'CHINESE TSUNAMI' that had dented his credibility to be Malaysia's 6th elected Prime Minister. That statement alone is enough to prove that Najib has never sincerely think about the nobility of 1Malaysia. He wanted to blame it on the Chinese so that DAP's reputation would get a beating and justify his defeat. Turns out...Najib's reputation is on the tightrope right now.

photo 03IsNajibBeingRACIST_zpsa1e18372.jpg
How can you still put on that 1Malaysia pin
when you keep on making "racist" statements?

The truth is...it was not because of the Chinese...it was a "Multiracial Malaysian Tsunami" that had caused Najib and Barisan Nasional to falter in urban areas. 70% urban voters have REJECTED Najib and his Barisan Nasional. Professional analysts agreed with this shift. Those from urban areas regardless of whether they are Malay, Chinese or Indian...Malaysians are simply sick of the way Barisan Nasional is running the country at theirs expense. So why do Najib still wanna put the blame on ONE RACE only to cover his inability to garner more support?

photo 04IsNajibBeingRACIST_zps66d43348.png
The fact is most Malaysians have
REJECTED Najib and BN. Period.

It seems that the worse has come to WORST. Today...Malaysians across the country were shocked when UMNO's Utusan Malaysia front-paged the question, "Apa Lagi Cina Mahu" (What else to the Chinese want?). It was a ridiculous statement from a newspaper that is owned by UMNO. Indirectly it means UMNO is releasing this RACIST statement through Utusan Malaysia? The most shocking part is when Najib actually stood up and DEFENDED Utusan Malaysia's claim that we Chinese are being ungrateful! I was totally dumbfounded and I did not expect Najib to endorse this racist statement.

photo 05UtusanMalaysiaAplagiCinaMahuIsNajibBeingRACIST_zps0451bfdd.jpg
Utusan Malaysia has become really out of control with its racist remarks!

To hear this from Malaysia's prime minister is really hurtful. He should have stood up for us...and not rub more salts against our wounds! For the record: 53.29% of Malaysians supported Pakatan Rakyat...and only a meager 25% (if all Chinese) of them are Chinese. So...can't you read this Najib? Malaysians and not only Chinese, are rejecting Barisan Nasional for being corrupted and fraudulent! Please wake up before it is too late. You cannot keep on living in denial and put the blame on others.

photo 06IsNajibBeingRACIST_zps04f7ab30.jpg
You might think this is funny but I am sad because
I did look up to this guy to fix all the wrongs that have been done!

P.S.: I hope Najib will repent and come clean about all the wrongdoings that he and Barisan Nasional has done, especially about the tainted 13th General Election. I hope Najib will be remembered for all the good things he has done and not something like this...

PR Penang State Government 2.0 Shall Be Competent, Clean And Fair To All Regardless Of Race, Religion And Most Important Of All Those Who Supported BN.(en/bm/cn)

Press Conference Statement by Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng After The Swearing-In Ceremony By Penang Governor At Sri Mutiara, Penang on 7.5.2013

We are extremely grateful to the people of Penang not only for proving that Penangites can neither be bought by the blatant and shameless money politics nor threatened with violence that had occurred in the last few days of the GE13 campaign in Penang. Clearly Penangites valued a government that performed and delivered over the last 5 years much more than those who only appeared during the last 5 days of the campaign to buy votes or threaten voters.

We are humbled and thank the people of Penang for their support. Just as we have delivered in the previous 5 years, we shall continue to do so for the next 5 years in preparing not only the future for the young but preparing the young for the future. We are prepared to build upon our successes to make Penang Cleaner, Greener, Safer and Healthier than ever.

5 years ago, we introduced clean governance based on the CAT principles of Competency, Accountability and Transparency. Through measures such as open competitive tenders, assets declarations, disallowing family members from doing business with the state government, we have managed to garner the largest investments ever in the history of Penang. In the last 5 years from 2008-2012, we received RM 36.1 billion in investments, compared to only RM 18.7 billion in the preceding 5 years from 2003-2007.

Through CAT, the PR state government was able to achieve surpluses every year since 2008, reduce debt by 95% and increase state assets from RM800 million in 2008 to RM1.2 billion in today. From the savings and surpluses we achieved, we shall abolish poverty this year by topping up monthly the income of all families who receive less than RM770 a month, continue with yearly cash aid to schools, senior citizens, single mothers, the disabled, school students, university students and trishaw pullers. From our feedback, the fear that BN will abolish these popular programmes caused many, especially Malays, to reject BN and support PR.

On the back of clear increased support amongst Chinese and Indian voters coupled with the slight increase in Malay support, PR Penang recorded an increase in popular votes from 63% to 66% and won all our seats with increased majorities. PR Penang managed to win an additional state seat in Seberang Jaya, increasing the 29 state seats won to 30. PR will not follow BN’s racial games of bashing the Chinese voters and make the Chinese community scapegoats for BN’s loss. Instead, PR will treat all Penangites fairly regardless of race, religion and political background.

Before I was sworn in for my second term as Chief Minister, I had visited Kampung Melayu in Air Itam, my constitutency in the Indian settlement of Ujong Batu in Bagan and Air Putih. The PR Penang state government 2.0 will be fair to all, even towards those who supported BN.

Propose An Annual RM 100 Golden Mother Programme To Record Our Appreciation To All Homemakers Below 60 Who Do Not Work But Look After Their Children From 2014 Onwards.
If PR had won Putrajaya, a PR Federal government would have given RM600 annually to all homemakers who did not work so that they can take care of the families. This general election showed the power of women, many who voted for the first time enthusiastically for justice, freedom, truth, integrity and good governance. In appreciation for their support, I shall propose a Golden Mother programme of RM 100 annually to all homemakers below 60 who do not work but look after their children and families from 2014 onwards.

All Pakatan Rakyat State Assemblypersons Shall Publicly Declare Their Assets Annually Certified By An Accounting Firm.
We will continue to further enhance CAT governance, including extending public asset declarations annually to all elected reps certified by an accounting firm, instead of confining it only to the Chief Minister and EXCO members.

We shall continue with our pro-growth, pro-jobs and pro-poor policies, especially empowering the SMEs, halal industry and expand our microcredit programme with an additional RM5 million. We will also encourage the growth of the aquaculture industry by abolishing boating licenses and provide nets on an annual basis to inshore fishermen. Apart from existing tourism projects, we want to improve the hospitality service by giving an annual good service incentive of R600 to all taxi-drivers.

We will seek to establish Penang as a center of excellence for science and technology through the Penang Science Cluster and the RM25 million Tech-Dome initiative. We will also make Penang a regional education hub by building Penang Learning Centers in all districts and attracting world-class educational institutions such as the Asian Women’s Leadership University (AWLU). Our ultimate goal will always be to build human talent by training, retraining, retaining and attracting new talent.

The Penang state government proposes to work with the Federal government on the Penang Transport Masterplan to establish a public transport system and expand existing road networks to ensure that our children do not grow up as a traffic jam generation. Not just the 4 major highways in Penang but also new roadwork projects in Seberang Perai, such as Jalan Bukit Minyak and Jambatan Kampung Tanjung Berembang.

In terms of housing, we will continue the RM500 million Affordable Housing Fund by building 22,000 units of affordable quality housing in George Town, Teluk Kumbar, Butterworth, Bukit Mertajam, Batu Kawan and Juru, covering all 5 districts.

Finally, making Penang liveable by being clean, green safe and healthy remains top on our agenda. We are now the most liveable in Malaysia and fourth best place to retire in the world. We will continue to preserve and strengthen George Town as a UNESCO World Heritage City as well as in arts and culture. Being the only green state practicing the “No Plastic Bags Campaign”, achieving the highest recycling rate in Malaysia at 24%, we will now target to achieve a recycling rate of 40% as well as reduce the generation of waste per capita by 50% by 2020.

The state government also plans to increase the number of CCTVs, as well as street lights to ensure that Penang keeps its status as the safest state in Malaysia. We will continue with our agenda of returning the third vote to Penang in order to empower local democracy through local government elections.

The people of Penang have spoken loud and clear and given an unqualified endorsement towards the people-centric policies of PR. There will be no room for cronies in Penang. Let us all unite to make Penang the No.1 liveable state in Malaysia.

LIM GUAN ENG

—–BM Version —-

Kenyataan Media oleh Ketua Menteri Pulau Pinang Lim Guan Eng selepas isitadat mengangkat sumpah oleh Yang Di Pertua Negeri Pulau Pinang di Sri Mutiara, Pulau Pinang pada 7 Mei 2013.

Kerajaan Negeri Pakatan Rakyat Pulau Pinang 2.0 Akan Terus Menjadi Cekap, Bersih Dan Adil Kepada Semua Tanpa Mengira Kaum, Agama Dan Paling Penting Sekali Mereka Yang Menyokong BN.

Cadangan Bayaran Tahunan RM100 Program Ibu Emas Bagi Menunjukkan Penghargaan Kepada Semua Suri Rumah Berusia 60 Tahun Ke Bawah Yang Tidak Bekerja Tetapi Mengasuh Anak-Anak Mereka Dari Tahun 2014.

Semua Ahli Dewan Undangan Negeri Pakatan Rakyat Pulau Pinang Mesti Mengisytiharkan Harta Secara Tahunan Dengan Disahkan Oleh Sebuah Firma Perakaunan.

Bangladeshi Are Now Malaysians Thanks To Najib And Barisan Nasional?

At least 60,000 confirmed Bangladeshi were flown in from various places to help Najib to vote for Barisan Nasional for yesterday's General Election. Previously a lot thought it was merely rumours, but many...were dumbfounded when they, themselves, witnessed the Bangladeshi lined up behind them, waiting to vote. BUT ONLY MALAYSIANS CAN VOTE RIGHT? These Bangladeshi have become "Malaysians" thanks to our idiotic Najib and Barisan Nasional who gave them free Identification Card to vote!  The worse part is...even our Election Commission who is supposed to be clean and fair let these Bangladeshi vote (several times)! And the worst, worst part is...the police who is supposed to protect us, protected these Bangladeshi to vote instead! WHAT??? How can Najib and Barisan Nasional commit such an act of treachery to us~the real Malaysians?

photo BangladeshiAreNowMalaysiansThanksToNajibAndBarisanNasional01_zps6829ba82.jpg
How come Bangladeshi can VOTE for our future?

Najib has already foreseen that we-the REAL Malaysians, won't be voting for him. That was why he hired so many Bangladeshi to be "Malaysians". So now you still think that the man who has been championing about 1Malaysia-equality for all, gives a damn about you or me? NO. This devilish Najib doesn't give a damn about you or me (the real Malaysians), regardless or whether you are a Malay, Chinese, Indian or whatever colour that you have. To Najib and his Barisan Nasional minnions, he only cares about votes that will make him stay in power and continue to vacuum more money into his own pockets! To Najib these Bangladeshi are the "loyal Malaysians" that they need.

photo BangladeshiAreNowMalaysiansThanksToNajibAndBarisanNasional02_zps08f58255.jpg
The police escorting the Bangladeshi to vote.
Are they supposed to protect us the Malaysians?

Think about it...if today Najib and Barisan Nasional can employ 60, 000 Bangladeshi to be voters in General Election...they can make more Bangladeshi to be Malaysians and give them citizenship rights that we have. Imagine one day there are 3 millions, 4 million or maybe 5 million Bangladeshi roaming the streets in Malaysia proudly as Malaysians. And they can do whatever hell that they want just like us-buy our already limited houses, get cheap medical care, use our subsidized petrol etc. Why? Because they are true, blue "Malaysians" mah~thanks to Najib and Barisan Nasional!

photo BangladeshiAreNowMalaysiansThanksToNajibAndBarisanNasional04_zpsd86b1c34.jpg
Offer letter for Bangladeshi to offer to vote for Barisan Nasional!

Honestly...I, myself, feel like taking the streets to whack all these Bangladeshi who helped Najib to vote. Some of you might say, they have been exploited and used as tools to help the malicious Barisan Nasional. I don't agree with this point because these ill-advised Bangladeshi themselves were greedy enough to accept money from Barisan Nasional to vote. So don't try to be a saint and ask us Malaysians to have mercy on these opportunists, brainless Bangladeshi! Then again the real culprit is NAJIB!!!

"Jib~kor~berapa lagi Bangala kena bawak?"

photo BangladeshiAreNowMalaysiansThanksToNajibAndBarisanNasional03_zps42c015d1.jpg
We-the Malaysians know the truth!

I hope this wicked Najib, his wick-wearing wife-Rosmah, and the corrupted Barisan Nasional will get their deserved retribution as soon as possible! I believe in Karma...sooner or later the bad deeds you have done will get back to you...albeit a bit later. I feel so bad for their children and grandchildren...I hope they will repent and admit their mistakes as soon as possible..fat chance huh just like Rosmah. Ha :D So karma it will be. See you Najib, Rosmah and all the other ill-gotten Barisan Nasional maggots in Final Destination 7! Kaput!
